For more than 59 years Vale National has been providing damage estimators and adjusters the hands-on training needed to succeed in an ever-changing insurance industry.

At Vale, we believe a student learns better by doing. That's why we use cutaways, visual aids and mock-ups to demonstrate construction techniques, materials and repairs. It's why Auto Estimatics® students practice producing estimates by working with damaged late-model cars. Property students examine interior and exterior property damage at the Vale House - a full-size residence that shows how actual damage in real situations will look. Our adjuster courses also require practice in simulated situations. From three training centers equipped with over sixty damaged cars and trucks, three full-sized houses and ten computer equipped classrooms, located in Mechanicsburg PA, Arlington TX and Fresno CA, students get the best “hands-on” training available. Our staff of expert instructors is unparalleled in providing training excellence. The school directors and instructors together offer over 150 years of combined experience in Education, Insurance, Auto Repair, Construction and Claims. Each student benefits from this depth of experience.

Most states have a Proprietary or Trade School Act that defines the type of institutions that can offer post-secondary training and education. Vale National is regulated as a private training organization. Private training organizations must enroll only sponsored students. A sponsorship signature is necessary, if Vale is audited by regulators, to prove conformity with the specified Act. Our registration form, when fully completed, will act as a sponsorship letter.

Enrollment is offered to individuals sponsored by qualified businesses or governmental agencies and is open to all regardless of sex, race, age or religion. Sponsors agree to financial responsibility for tuition and lodging, if applicable. Contact us for more information.

Vale furnishes notebooks, manuals, paper and other materials. Any additional items needed will be listed in the confirmation letter/email.

Be prepared for daily quizzes and weekly exams in most courses. Damage estimates, each progressively more difficult, are assigned. Quizzes, tests and estimates are graded and discussed in detail following each exercise for maximum benefit to the students. A student's final grade is based on daily quizzes, weekly exams, graded estimates and final exams.

Classes are scheduled for seven hours per day with up to one hour of overnight homework. Attendance is mandatory and reported to the sponsor in the Completion Report. Any absences and incomplete assignments require a completion plan per the class Instructor. Each student receives
a copy of the Student Code of Conduct.

A grade of 75% is required to qualify for a Certificate of Completion which is awarded on the last day of class. Students must be present at the end of the course to receive a certificate, excepting a verifiable emergency. A detailed Completion Report is mailed to the student's supervisor or
sponsor following each course.

Verification of attendance or course completion will be honored upon written request only from sponsors or former students. Student and/or sponsor information is not available to others without legal authority.

A business check, cashiers check or money order covering tuition and lodging, if included, is due on the first day of class. Invoices will be produced following receipt of payment. Prepayment invoices may be requested by calling 1-800-233-7095.

Some courses may have registration fees and cancellation penalties. It is the responsibility of the student and sponsor to immediately notify us if scheduled attendance must be cancelled.

If the student leaves before the end of the course, prepaid tuition is refunded on a prorata basis to the total number of training days for the course. Prorata tuition is invoiced for the number of days of training versus total course days. Full tuition is due even if a Certificate is not awarded because of a failing grade. Lodging is payable based on usage.

Vale offers cost-saving programs for volume enrollments. For more information, call 1-800-233-7095.
