
Who Should Attend
This one-week class is designed for the claims examiner who reviews and authorizes auto damage estimate payments. Insurance and collision repair office personnel, agents, independent adjusters and self-insured fleet administrators are excellent candidates for this course.
Prerequisite
Attendess must be capable of operating Windows-based programs. Sponsors will need to indicate program selection at the time of Registration.
Course Content
The instructor demonstrates the estimating process emphasizing sequence and damage identification. Students learn how to look for and identify key estimate entries related to the repair process and analyze pre-written estimates for accuracy. Industry standard repair and replacement decisions are practiced and analyzed. Students produce several limited value estimates to reinforce new skills.
Course Benefits
After successfully completing this course, examiners are able to identify key estimate entries and examine the repair estimate for accuracy. They also develop the skill to produce limited value damage estimates on an automated system.
