Who Should Attend
This one-week course is designed to emphasize knowledge of terminology, insurance coverage, hull construction, mechanical components and repair procedures to produce accurate boat damage estimates.
Prerequisite
None.
Course Content
The course covers the following subjects: marine terminology, policies and coverage, mechanical damage/repairs, hulls, personal watercraft, on-board systems, experts, repair facilities and resources. Actual damaged equipment and boats are used for estimating workshops, skill-building exercises and reviews. Damageability, wear and tear, rot, fire, and strucutral versus cosmetic damage are covered.
Special Feature
Attendees will be introduced to Mitchell's Ultramate™ Marine ™, a comprehensive estimating program designed to estimate fiberglass and refinish repair times as well as OEM parts and labor.
