Xcelerated Auto Estimatics
Who Should Attend
This one-week accelerated course is designed for the student that has a working knowledge of vehicle construction and nomenclature, refinishing, outer panel sheet metal repairs, and an automated estimating system. The Xcelerated course is recommended for candidates that have estimating experience and/or prior attendance in Vale's one-week auto estimating program and need the skills to produce complete estimates including frame, structural, and mechanical systems damage.
Prerequisite
Candidates must complete a questionnaire regarding prior estimating skills and experience before class registration is confirmed.
Course Content
The focus of this program is the identification and estimation of structural and frame damages, as well as the most commonly collision-damaged mechanical systems such as suspension, steering, and alignment, cooling and air conditioning, restraint systems and more. Our industry-leading STAR (STructural Analysis Realignment) program provides a consistent and accurate method of analyzing and documenting structural and frame damage.
Practice and test estimates are performed on moderate to severe front, side and rear impacts.
New generation vehicle construction such as plastic composites, aluminum and alternative metals, hydroformed frame and structural members, and hybrid vehicles are reviewed with the latest industry information.
Course Benefits
After successfully completing this course, the student will have the skills to prepare a complete and accurate damage estimate using an automated estimating system.
